Opened in 2005, the Museum of Bounty has a varied collection of artefacts which portray the history and heritage of the Pitcairn Islands, many of which have been donated or loaned by people from all over the world. There are stone tools made by Polynesians prior to the arrival of the mutineers, relics from the shipwreck of H.M.S. Bounty, a wheelbarrow and various books and articles. There is even the bible from the Bounty. The Museum of Bounty also contains old photos of Adamstown and the people who lived there.
